"GATHERING," the latest party style, means having a great time with food in a casual atmosphere, and it's gaining popularity all over the world.
THE SORAKUEN is a place where people can have a good time together* taking in Kobe's mixed culture, as well as a hub where love for Kobe's local community is fostered and cultures interact and disseminate. That's why we're promoting "KOBE GATHERING."
Our goal is to bring joy to people of all ages and nationalities and become a sort of community that the local community can rely on. To those ends, we're offering carefully selected Hyogo/Kobe products and holding monthly events where guests can enjoy diverse culture from a Kobe perspective.
*The origin of SORAKUEN's name
This name comes from one line from the ancient Chinese book called "I Ching."
It contains the characters "和悦相楽," and the final two of those are how this cafe's name is written in Japanese. The characters roughly mean, "have a good time together."
